blog:Perceiving friendship

Posted in life on September 20th, 2009 by admin – 4 Comments

What is friendship? I had once wondered for the word in my childhood. In the past, I used to conceive my friendship as a credit card on which I had always excessively squandered. In cause of this mistakenly na?ve thought, I had lost a lot of good friends unknowingly in my elementary school. And during those days, I was extremely upset as if the whole mind had fallen into an immeasurably deep hole filled with confusion and perplexity. I knew I was to lose more if I would not stop what I am doing. Right at that tine, a new figure of girl entered into my life. She has taught me to understand, to touch the friendship between people.
Mengdi is my first as well as the best friend that I’ve never had during my junior high school years. She is patient, mild and popular with one lovely dimple on her swarthy face. In my stay with her, I can always get excited when in good mood and become extraordinarily cheerful when fail the tests. We helped each other out under all the hard situations from which I gradually realized that friendship is like a little tree that needs to be focused and taken care of by two together. Sometimes, I imagine us as two happy birds singing on the tree every day. I’ve never thought of being part with her someday. As a matter of fact, I dare not.

blog:Finally

Posted in life on September 20th, 2009 by admin – 6 Comments

Finally, life seems to be shining again after several weeks’s depression and confusion.
As a matter of fact, everything is quite simple.
There is probably nothing you can do to change something that you are born with, but you can try to achieve what you dream of.
There is porbably no way for you to compete with someone you really want to win over, but you can challenge and conquer yourself after hard struggling.
Not everything would work in the way that you want.
Not every effort pays you back.
However, if you give up going forward and working hard, everything will not work in the way you like.
So just work hard.
Dilligence is something that everyone is able to own.
It is alse something most people cannot own.
It’s up to whether you are a successful one.

blog:A story

While While the mother was cooking the dinner, it started to rain. The son was so excited about that and went outside to play. When he jumped in the mud, he shouted to his mom: “Look at me, mum, I am gonna jump to the moon!” She didn’t pull him back and scold him, instead, she said to him calmly: “Fine! But don’t forget coming back for dinner!”
The boy became the first astronaut later who went the moon in 1969. It was him who had made a big step for human being’s progress, said simply in front of those reporters:” Mum, I am back from the moon and I am gonna back home for dinner now!”
I like this story. I appreciate this woman so much, so I try to translate it into English. And I hope I can be a great mum too!

blog:It’s time for migrant worker to go back hometown

Posted in life on September 20th, 2009 by admin – 2 Comments

The time is closer and closer to Spring Festival, the railway department is facing the heavy transportation now. In China, migrant workers should belong to a special kind of people. Generally they live in the city especially emerging city and large city, most of them comes from rural area. In order to make more money for better living, they have to leave the hometown for urban area, and lose time to take care of their young children and old parents. Although they live in city, but they are different from office workers who have steady job and stable income, most of migrant workers engage in labor work such as construction worker, cargador and so on, generally they have no steady job and often move there from here, they living condition is simple and crude because. Their work is so hard but the income is so low. They make great contribution to national economy although their job looks like lack of technology.
Spring Festival is good for them because they can bring wholly year income to hometown and see their families. It’s also bad for them because they have to face the big difficulty of buying railway tickets. Some of them have to stand in crowed carriage for long time because of non-seat ticket.
No one is willing to leave home for other city and works hard for low-income unless poverty. As a whole, many people in rural area in China are living in poor conditions, they have no enough income to guarantee their fundamental living. I commiserate with them but how I can do. I hope for government can establish more policies to make migrant workers benefit from flourishing economy development.

blog:My old friends

Posted in life on September 18th, 2009 by admin – 6 Comments

It seems that I was lucky these days,I met many friends during two days, they were my old friends, good friends,I lost touch with them for a long time, time flies! some of them I hadn’t seen for about two years, since we graduated from high school,we had lost contact with each other.Although I have known I lot of new friends in university,I won’t forget the old friends who accompany me all the way in my high school life,we played together,we laughed and laughed,we encouraged each other,I could feel the really friendship,I believe real friendship can last forever,so it does.
We can’t survive in this world if we have no friends around us,we need our friends in our life and our friends also need us.If we meet some difficulty we can find our friends,if we meet the happy thing we can share with our friends.Between friends all is common,I know not whether our names will be immortal,I am sure our friendship will .

blog:Strong earthquake

Posted in life on September 18th, 2009 by admin – 4 Comments

I was sorry to hear the news, a major earthquake measuring 7.8 Richter Scale jolted Wenchuan Country in Southwest China’s province at 2:28 p.m. What a terrible earthquake it was!
I couldn’t believe it at first,it was so great disaster,I seem to have no enough time to accept this cruel fact before it happened, but we must accept the biting truth, and take measures as soon as possible.
At this time, time is life,I hope the people who live there can pluck up their courage and struggle with the disaster, although it’s hard to face this cruel fact, don’t worry,we are together with you, the people all over the world concern you constantly,I believe we can pull through so long as we hand in hand.
Come on !Never say give up.

blog:You’re dependent

Posted in life on September 18th, 2009 by admin – 6 Comments

There’s a thin line between companionship and support and dependency. If you depend on your partner — that is, if you absolutely cannot live without her or him — you’ve crossed that line. The pressure is now on your partner to fill whatever’s missing in you — a pressure s/he will learn to resent. If you expect your partner to bring everything while you bring nothing to your relationship — and I’m talking finances as well as emotional support, here — you’re in trouble. (Note: I’m not saying that you need to contribute equally to household finances — what I’m saying is that if you’re not contributing to the household budget, and you’re not contributing anywhere else, things are out of whack and that’s never good.)

blog:Tiberland Publicizes its Footprint

I am having to do a lot of apologizing this week… sorry I missed you last night. A social event rans a bit longer than expected, and afterwards… well, the picture for Monday’s post was even more appropriate.
The folks at Timberland are taking a step forward (get it — shoe makers… taking a step forward… aw, never mind…) towards greater transparency by placing information about the shoe’s figurative footprint right on the box.
